Relive the energy of the 2025 Pride March

HISTORIC RECORD: 400,000 PEOPLE! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

The Córdoba Pride March made history. The official account of the march confirmed the figure that was already felt in the streets: some 400,000 people mobilized, setting a new attendance record.

It was not just a party; it was a forceful protest under the slogan: "Mr. President, if freedom advances, why are our rights going backwards?".

The view from the Fuente del Perdón, in front of Patio Olmos, was striking. Seeing Av. Yrigoyen packed up to the stage (500 meters away) and, at the same time, turning around and observing the endless column of people coming down Av. Vélez Sarsfield, demonstrated the magnitude of the turnout.

A day with particularities:

It was a march marked by intense heat. This caused many to decide to join closer to sunset, creating a true human tide as the sun went down. At times, it was difficult to calculate the final number of attendees, but the feeling of a crowd was undeniable.

The energy was overwhelming. People marched against hate speech and demanded missing rights: Comprehensive Trans Law, Effective Anti-Discrimination Law, Comprehensive HIV Law, and the recognition of sex work.

Furthermore, pride was also solidarity, with a non-perishable food drive destined for trans soup kitchens and community dining halls in the city.

As a perfect end to a day of struggle and celebration, the threatening rain held off and didn't arrive until the march had concluded.
